Eliot Prize.  Her travel book, Tigers in Red Weather, was highly acclaimed and she is also well-known for her popular works of poetry criticism.  Her awards include First Prize in the National Poetry Competition, a Cholmeley Award from the Society of Authors and an Arts Council of England Writers' Award.
